"Do This In Remembrance of Me"

Formation for a life with Christ stirs our heart, enlightens our mind, and inspires our soul.  It aims to enable us to love God with our hearts, our souls, our minds, and all our strength.  It seeks to help us form correct consciences, choose what is morally good, and live in this world according to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

Formation teaches us the obligations we have in love toward God, others  and ourselves.

Formation summons us to recognize our inherent dignity and to act in accord with the divine life in which we share.  Formation for life in Christ offers us the way of Christ, the way that leads from death toward eternal life.

These are the goals of the formation ministries of St. Marcelline Parish:  To learn, to celebrate, to empower and to return in love what the Father has given us.

     The Mission

“The Church continues the mission of Jesus, prophet, priest, and servant king.  Its mission, like His, is essentially one—to bring about God’s kingdom—but this one mission has three aspects: proclaiming and teaching God’s word, celebrating the sacred mysteries, and serving the people of the world.  Corresponding to the three aspects of the Church’s mission and existing to serve it are three ministries:  the ministry of the word, the ministry of worship, and the ministry of service.”

God, who supplies seed for the sower and bread to eat, will also supply you with all the seed you need and will make it grow.
