Employment Transition Ministry

During the struggles of life we often ask,

Where is God?

Those in the Bright Futures Ministry have discovered that God is with us even in the darkest times.

Therefore it must be part of our purpose to offer comfort

and guidance to all who seek God’s will in their employment challenge.

While one seeks a deeper spiritual understanding,

we are always mindful that no memberofour faith community,

or any person, should make this journey alone.

Our Mission:

The St. Marcelline “Bright Futures Ministry” believes that in times of employment transition it is important to embrace one’s faith and seek the company of others who have experienced a similar event in their lives.  It is our endeavor to provide spiritual guidance, encouragement, support, that are founded upon Christian beliefs.

Goals and Objectives:

To minister to the spiritual well being of those affected by a loss of employment

To conduct all sessions around Scripture and Prayer

To focus those affected by employment issues on the strength available to them from God, Family and Community.

To be a House of Prayer for those seeking employment

To serve as a resource to assist participants in their individual job search

Belief:

I am comforted in the knowledge and belief that you will never place before me a challenge too great as long as I keep you by my side

Pray:

Help me to understand my place beside you in this journey.

Help me to come to know my strengths

and come to accept my weakness.

Let me come to know the part you must play

in what I plan to do to overcome this new challenge in my life.

I promise to take an honest look at who I am,

and focus on how my search for honest work is also

a search for your Holy presence in my life.

Oh God, who provides for all things,

give me the strength to trust in

you and the skills you have given me.

As in all things I call to you, my God

and I ask in humble servitude that

you show me your will.
